Damb, "Donna" <donnaTAKETHISOUT@msn.com>, do I have to 'splain EVERYTHING to your dumn ass???? >As one who was among the privileged to be cybertaunted (on multiple >occasions, I might add), it sure sounds like they are having a terrific >time. I did question the time he devoted to cybertaunting during a period >where he and his bride had a fair amount of time to explore their wondrous >stretch limo!....and presumably, each other! I'm awaiting the details of >their dinner tonight at Morton's Steakhouse. Morton's was just great. We dined on the $109 dinner for two special. We got two really nice salads, a "surf and turf" meal (I had shrimp which were great, Mrs. Andrew had scallops with her steak which were similarly great.) Two veggies (we chose grilled asparagus and baked potato) and a choice of key lime pie or chocolate lava cake were included. We had one of each. There was a table of 10 really loud, obnoxious douchebags (tm) next to us... so much that the manager actually asked them to remove themselves to the bar. It was quite entertaining and much laughter was had at our table, especially when they made the "walk of shame" past us and out of the dining area. I paid with a $100 Mortons gift card obtained via AMEX membership rewards, and paid the balance from comp dollars. Tip was in cash. All in all a great experience, and highly recommended. It was more food than we could handle, and I am anticipating finishing it off for breakfast. Interestingly we asked our server (a really personable young lady) if business was slow and if lots of people use the $109 special. She said that about 1/2 of their customers use the special now. Her exact words were "it's keeping us in business." We had lunch at a sushi place in the Pier shops (kind of AC's answer to the forum shops.) The neat thing was the view... we sat at a table right next to the window with a pretty breathtaking view of the Joisey shore. The sushi wasn't too bad either, and was, of course, comped. A hot, friendly waitress rounded out the experience quite nicely. >> It's not Vegas, but this is quite an enjoyable place to come and >> gamble, eat, and enjoy. > >Indeed! Let's hope the next invitation that you find too good to refuse >brings you back to Vegas for Joone.....I see a lost weekend in your future. Joone is looking likely. >> More to follow. > >I'm looking forward to THAT!! Today is a shopping day... we will hit the outlets nearby (who's genius idea was it to build an OUTDOOR shopping mall in freaking New Jersey?) This afternoon we will pick up our tickets for the Madonna show, and I foresee another couple of rounds of drinks in the Diamond Lounge pre-show. Maybe even featuring some semi-drunk cyber taunting like yesterday. As far as gambling, we have played exclusively 9/6 Jacks video poker. Thanks to a good run on a $1 machine last night, we are ahead $180 for gambling at the moment, and since today is a non-gambling day, that's where it will stay, unless we get the crazy idea to play BJ or 3 card poker later on tonight. I never thought I would sing the praises of the evil empire, but if they keep treating us this well, I will continue to say that Harrahs rocks, at least for us. I have pictures, but didn't bring my cable to connect to the laptop. I'll catch them up when I get home. Best to most of AVLV. -- Andrew <-- a noodly appendage of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
